NES Controller Wallpaper

Okay, I wanted something that cheesily copied Apple's iPod wallpapers that have been crawling across the web for years, so I made this wallpaper out of the controller I made earlier today.


This is my laziest wallpaper to date, made thusly:
1. make new doc, black layer
2. new layer, paste controller pic and resize
3. dupe, flip vertically
4. lower opacity
5. feather cut lower portion of duped layer

literally less than five minutes to make...

GIMP 2.2. Dowload for full 1440x900 res. It looks real purdy with a dark black Windowblinds theme, like INVI PRO E.COMPACT made by 007TINAR [link] .

TINY EDIT: added a drop shadow to the controller to make it look more like it was sitting on the surface. brings the total creation time to six minutes...
